Biography
Frédéric Van Bever has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2003.
He is a graduate cum laude from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and holds a D.E.S. in business law from the Université de Gand (UGent).
He is specialised in real estate law, and more particularly in construction law.
Frédéric Van Bever is a legal author at Wolters Kluwer and wrote a book on the party wall and a chapter on the Energy Performance of Buildings in the Real Estate Law Guide (DIMM).
Frédéric Van Bever is also a professor at the Plateforme Maison Passive (P.M.P. A.S.B.L.) where he teaches entrepreneurs and designers (architects, engineers, PEB managers, etc.) the risks and obligations associated with their involvement in a construction or renovation of a “Passive” project.
He provides CAPA (Certificate of Aptitude for the Profession of Lawyer) courses for trainees at the Brussels Bar. He also conducts seminars for public speaking, reasoned negotiation, advocacy in mediation and advocacy at the Communication Institute of the Brussels Bar (ICBB), of which he was a director from 2012 to 2016.
Frédéric joined the firm on October 1st, 2014 and established, together with Mr. VERBRAKEN and Mr. ELLOUZE, the department of real estate law, construction law and condominiums.
